Two New Lineup Added to HORIBA FTX-ONE Series

HORIBA adds the FTX-ONE-CL and FTX-ONE-RS as two new products in the FTX-ONE exhaust gas analyzer series. Both use HORIBA’s Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) to continuously and precisely measure the gas concentration of up to 28 components contained in exhaust gases.

These new FTIR exhaust gas analyzers contribute not only for research and development in the context of emissions regulations, but also for carbon neutrality.

FTX ONE CL
FTX-ONE-CL for dilution measurement

By introducing high-performance optical cell dedicated to long optical path lengths, low-concentration components of diluted exhaust gases can now become precisely measured.

  • Target gas: non-methane organic gas (NMOG), nitrous oxide (N2O), formaldehyde (HCHO), and ethanol (C2H5OH)
  • The improved durability and portability make it possible to flexibly adapt to changes in the layout of analytical equipment in the laboratory.

FTX ONE RS
FTX-ONE-RS for direct measurement
  • Target gas: Direct measurement of ammonia (NH3) and methane (CH4) concentration in exhaust gases.
  • Can also be equipped with total hydrocarbon (THC) and oxygen (O2) analyzers so that a single unit of FTX-ONE-RS can analyze the emissions behavior of multiple components. Also, standalone EGR system can be integrated as an option.
  • The versatility offers a broad range of applications from the monitoring of the air-to-gasoline ratio supplied by an engine to the evaluation of multiple new fuels and H2 engine development.
