Chassis and Suspension Development – 7-Post Rig

Seven-post rigs use track data to derive approximations to actual track surface inputs and hence can achieve close to actual track maximum suspension velocities and displacements. They also use active downforce devices to simulate the moment effect of inertia and aerodynamic forces.
