Hengchuang Zhixing (HCZX), formerly known as Haldex-VIE, was established in 2016 as a joint venture between two listed companies in the field of braking systems, China’s VIE Technology and Sweden’s Haldex, which with dedicated focus on EMB development.
In 2023, the company was transitioned to a domestic company and renamed as Hengchuang Zhixing (HCZX), which has made great efforts to promote the industrialization of EMB. The factory has been built in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province for mass production. Currently operates a commercial vehicle EMB production line with annual capacity of 30,000 sets. A new passenger vehicle EMB line with 400,000-set annual capacity is scheduled for commissioning by 2025. Reserch center located in Jiading, Shanghai.
