The high-precision sensor bearings on the rotor shaft are equipped with a sensor that transmits the rotary position to the power electronics for controlling the electric motor accordingly. Current shunt bearings are characterized by an integrated shunt element that protects the bearing against damage caused by electric current.
The new ARU bearing concept used as a locating bearing on the intermediate shaft transmits axial forces in both directions.
