we are seeing it now with the generation of “hypercars”; Porsche 918, La Ferrari and McLaren P1…
and so the people that thought they were ‘investing’ their money into multi-million dollar cars.
are now told they need to replace the battery packs of these cars, for 100 to 300,000$USD.
and these cars, are sitting in some collectors’ garage or showroom, collecting dust with a few hundred miles on them
that is the future of EVs, ladies and gentlemen.
every one of these types of cars will be under the same sentiment; and they do not even need be driven.
imagine now, spending 3M$USD on a ‘rimac’ and realizing it will need an entire new battery pack in a few years.
