Embedded AI Coder Code Generator Tool for the Automotive Industry
Bosch and ETAS launched the Embedded AI Coder, a tool enabling the integration of AI into the most resource-constrained embedded systems. This tool simplifies AI deployment, reduces development costs, optimizes performance, and ensures compliance with safety standards.


In the automotive industry, embedded systems and microcontrollers in control units prioritize minimal latency and high functional safety, often at the expense of storage capacity and computing power. However, developing complex functions for driver assistance and autonomous driving, such as height classification, requires handling large data volumes and utilizing trained neural networks. It generates C code directly from trained AI models, optimizing existing microcontroller architectures. This tool combines traditional electrical/electronic architectures with the potential of artificial intelligence, leading to new function ideas, optimization opportunities, and cost savings.
