CCAG Mega Die Casting

CCAG Megacasting BIW

Using aluminum alloy as the main lightweight material, three forming processes including high vacuum die-casting, low-pressure casting, and extrusion molding, as well as various connection processes such as aluminum alloy MIG welding, screw connection, bonding, riveting, and FDS, are adopted to achieve a variety of aluminum alloys and steel aluminum mixed applications. The overall lightweight effect of the bottom plate system is more than 30% lighter than that of the steel chassis structure on the same platform.

The integrated die-casting technology for the front engine compartment and rear body has achieved integration from over 200 parts to 2 parts compared to traditional steel structures, reducing weight by about 25%, increasing production efficiency from 2 hours to 2 minutes, and reducing labor consumption by 90%.

Targeting integrated die-casting applications, we independently develop heat treatment-free materials to achieve more economical process control and better casting defect control. The material performance has industry advantages and competitiveness.

The proportion of aluminum alloy used in the entire chassis system exceeds 95%, and the material recycling rate is close to 90%. In addition, the energy consumption of recycled aluminum alloy is only 5% of the original aluminum. making car production and manufacturing more green and environmentally friendly.
